Song: 10 Minutes in Camden

(Track 4/10 Nothing 2007) A snapshot of what it was like to wait for the bus in Camden, NJ.

their souls descending
they don’t understand the pain inside i can never show
i just look away and check the time

pregnant babies
crutches growing out of people’s sides
though i can’t spare a dime
at the dunkin’ donuts someone holds the door
an old crack whore

when will the bus come?

they say it’s ending
i’m saying that it’s just begun
some hiding little ones
in expensive sneakers i cannot afford
the concrete bedding snores

when will the bus come?
when will the bus come?
