About
“IFEIREUTO” is the visible portion of the neon sign across the street from my local pub. It is actually an insurance agent that sells “LIFE, AUTO, and FIRE” insurance, but the top is cut off by a hideous awning. The lyrics were a giant dump of technology concepts representing a self-deprecating cloud of thought that forms when I’ve had a few beers and go outside to smoke and stare at that sign. It actually took a lot of trial and error and practice to figure out how to pronounce the chorus. It kind of reminds me of a non-English name for a mythical monster or something.
